This Privacy Policy explains how KeyoAPI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our OpenAI-compatible API gateway and related websites.

KeyoAPI provides API access to third-party AI models (chat and image generation) through a unified endpoint for developers. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other model providers.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

Account data: username, email address, and authentication identifiers (including Google OIDC profile data if you sign in with Google)
Billing data: payment status, order IDs, and top-up history processed by our payment provider (Waffo). We do not store full card numbers
Usage data: API requests metadata (timestamps, model names, token/image usage, IP address, API key identifiers) needed for billing, abuse prevention, and support
Support communications: messages you send to kopsail521@gmail.com
Technical logs: basic server logs for security and reliability

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data beyond what is needed to operate the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

Provide, operate, and improve the KeyoAPI service
Authenticate users and manage API keys

4. Prompt and generated content

API prompts and model outputs may transit our systems and upstream providers solely to fulfill your requests. We do not sell your prompts. Retention of prompt/content logs, if any, is limited to operational, billing, abuse-prevention, and legal needs.

You are responsible for ensuring that prompts and outputs comply with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and with applicable laws.

5. Sharing of information

We may share limited data with:

Payment processor / Merchant of Record: Waffo (and its payment partners) for checkout, tax, and payouts
Upstream AI providers: only as required to fulfill API calls you initiate
Infrastructure providers: hosting, DNS, and email delivery vendors
Authorities: when required by law or to protect rights and safety

We do not sell personal information.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Our site may use cookies or local storage for login sessions, language preference, and basic site functionality.

7. Data retention

We retain account, billing, and usage records for as long as your account is active and as needed for accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support; some records may be retained where legally required.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to the service (HTTPS, access controls, token-based API auth). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. International transfers

Our servers and vendors may process data in multiple countries. By using KeyoAPI, you understand that your information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.

10. Your choices

11. Children’s privacy

KeyoAPI is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
